Two sheets of photograph, cut, creased and layered
I'm an amateur photographer, my pictures are nothing special. In this work, these nondescript outdoor images are then subjected to couple of physical processes, including being cut, fold, pleated, creased. Through such intuitive intervention, I create abstract approximations of each landscape’s most immediate visual and sensory effects. Analogs for the physical reality of being in the landscape, this photographic work invests the pictured scenery with dimensionality and life. 25/08/20 Sunyoung Park
